VACCEB offers ESL (English Second Language), Citizenship, and Digital Literacy classes to the community. Courses are designed to help low-income immigrants adapt to a modern life, become self-sufficient, and be able to navigate the ins and outs of America.

VACCEB’s recognizes that immigrants face many different challenges on their path to financial independence. Our service integrates workforce development, public benefits assistance, financial education, and coaching to provide all clients with a solid foundation to secure employment and achieve financial stability.

The information and assistance program offers comprehensive services and direct support to newly arrived immigrants navigating life in the United States. Our aim is to assist immigrants achieve self-sufficiency, ensuring equal protection under the law, and facilitating the civic integration of aspiring new Americans.

VACCEB’s Food Security program serves low-income seniors throughout Alameda County, with a particular focus on reaching those in hard-to-access areas such as Alameda, Oakland, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and Hayward. On average, we distribute 2,400 meals monthly, three days a week, to our community members.

With the increase in crime against our community members, especially those with limited English capabilities, VACCEB continues to work with law enforcement and community groups tackling crime to help keep our community safe.

VACCEB is actively educating and conducting outreach to our senior community members on a host of social, health, and economic issues. We strive to inform community members to raise awareness on important issues and promote civic participation.
