English As A Second Language (ESL)
VACCEB’s ESL program seeks to facilitate language acquisition for all English language learners (i.e., immigrant, native-born, and international) and to prepare them to express themselves effectively, gain further education, succeed in the workplace, and contribute effectively to their communities. Our classes are taught by passionate, TEFL-certified instructors who create enriching classroom experiences. You will be immersed in a diverse cultural classroom setting alongside friendly and supportive peers.
VACCEB students are provided with an Educational Journey Map on the courses to reach proficiency after the entrance exam upon registration.

Digital Literacy
Digital literacy is defined as the knowledge and ability to utilize computers and related technology efficiently to do minor day-to-day activities (email, internet, research, etc.) Digital literacy also refers to the development of a comfort level in the use of computers and applications associated with computers. Another valuable component is understanding how computers work and operate so they are less mysterious.
Digital literacy is considered to be a very important skill to possess in developed countries. Employers want their workers to have basic computer skills because companies are very dependent on them to conduct basic tasks. Having knowledge of skills in computers also gives people access to higher paying jobs.
As an extension of ESL classes, VACCEB equips students with digital literacy so that they may independently obtain information. We provide computer access and lend Chromebooks to teach skills in web navigation, Excel, and social media.
